Under the direction of the Stars Performance Director/Designee, STARS Program Manager will support corporate and local plan leadership in achieving key clinical and quality projects to ensure improvement and sustainability of STARS performance year over year. Through engagement activities including project management, performance management, cross-functional department collaboration and education, and provider network outreach efforts. The manager will be responsible for driving projects and performance to meet local and enterprise business goals; participating in the development of performance and implementation strategies; analyzing and reporting on performance; and recommending improvement opportunities to achieve performance goals.
Strategy: Assists in the development of local program strategy and leads local level execution of projects that ensure alignment with STARS objectives/goals and performance improvement.
Training: Assists in the development of member/provider curriculum (STARS, CAHPS, and HOS) and works to deploy necessary program and change management concepts to local Plans to ensure STAR results become “a way of life” and that all constituents have the right tools/resources to track and improve performance.
Project Management: Participates and contributes to applicable projects/workgroups which influence STAR results locally and across the organization. Ensures local leadership alignment and outcomes are consistent with STAR program goals.
Performance Tracking and Monitoring: Proactively identifies and works with local business owners to ensure appropriate tracking and performance of STAR metrics and initiatives. Provides actionable reporting/information to local team, identifies gaps and initiates course corrections to ensure improved result year-over-year.
Data Integrity Monitoring: Monitors encounter/claims/other data reports to maintain data integrity, proactive acquisition/processing of date and in collaboration with local department leadership, develops and implements data collection strategies that optimize data acquisition, integration and reporting of STARS performance.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 5-7 years of external client facing experience in program/project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Graduate degree preferred.

Background/experience with Medicare STARS, HEDIS, CAHPS HOS highly preferred
Ability to dissect data, identify data gaps
Strong verbal communication/presentation skills- must be able to communicate with all levels of leadership
Able to take lead and run meetings
Must be action driven to find resulotions quickly
