This position will require travel with in the Tucson, AZ area. Must live in the area.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting physicians in treating patients. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Explains procedures and administers prescribed medications and treatments to patients. Prepares equipment and aids physician during patient treatment and examination.
Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to assess the patient's condition.
Documents nursing history and physical assessments, and initiates a patient education plan according to the individualized needs of the patient.
Rotates through various clinical services and perform duties such as preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, equipment, and supplies for surgery.
a BS in Nursing; 5 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide and equivalent background.
Current unrestricted RN license in applicable state required.
For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
