Manager II Quality Management (Government Business Division)

Remote with a return to Tampa office

Establishes a process to continually monitor program progress. Develops metrics and program/project reporting tools. Analyzes variance to program/project plan. Leads building of documentation to support business objectives and ensure consistency. Responsible for ensuring the overall success of multiple, cross-functional programs/projects through functional managers. Programs may include cultural change, regional planning, process improvement, change management, and quality initiatives. Responsible for developing and ensuring effective coordination of quality initiatives within the health plan, to include indicators for monitoring and evaluating the quality of care, service, and satisfaction of providers and members. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Establishes Quality Management objectives and annual goals. Develops and submits dashboard reports for all state, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and accrediting measures; analyzes validity of quality management data/reports from a clinical perspective. Coordinates development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement action plans. Provides oversight and ensures implementation of the Healthcare Effectiveness Data Information Set (HEDIS) data management and reporting strategy; coordinates the related improvement action plans. Provides training and education to meet National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates the performance of direct reports.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a health or business related field; 7 years of experience in a healthcare environment, including prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Preferences:

  • MSN, MPH, or MPA

  • Active unrestricted FL RN license

  • Medical Coding

  • STARS, HEDIS, and Quality background
