Manager Leave of Absence (LOA)
Preferred Location: Indianapolis, IN or Atlanta, GA
Alternate Locations: Mason, OH, Louisville, KY, St. Louis, MO, Richmond, VA, or Virginia Beach, VA
The Manager Leave of Absence (LOA) is responsible for the operational strategy, administration and management of Anthem's Leave of Absence programs and Worker's Compensation program.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Oversee team that will initiate, manage and monitor associate leave administration within the organization; partner with Associate Relations on ADA and ensure that our leave programs are delivering value to both Anthem and associates.
Responsible for the overall support of LOA administration ensuring program is in accordance with all policy and applicable federal and state laws.
Ensure successful leave of absence processing and management.
Responsible for system upgrades and management of changes to tools utilized for administer LOA plans and programs.
Ensure that team has the right technology and support as needed.
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires a BS/BA degree and 2 years of experience in a leadership role with 5 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
HR related designation preferred.
