Description: CareMore Health System and Aspire Health have Managed Professional Corporations and need designated shareholders and Directors to serve these professional corporations. The responsibilities of a designated shareholder and Director are as follows:
Attend Board meetings and quarterly pre-scheduled Board and conference calls
Complete documents in a timely manner, including Shareholder’s Rights Agreements and licensing related documents
Comply with appropriate government and company rules and regulations
The Director may be employed by another company, may serve on other Boards of Directors or advisory boards, and may engage in any other business activities, as long as such outside activities do not pose a conflict of interest and the activities are disclosed to CareMore and Aspire and reviewed by Compliance.
This is a Part-time position. Anticipated to be less than 20 hours per week.
The person in this role needs to be an MD or DO and already have an active medical license in one or more states in the United States of America.
In addition, this person needs to be willing and able (including being in good standing) to be licensed in other states beyond his / her current licensed states. This includes providing all the necessary information in a timely manner to achieve medical licensure in several states.
S/he also needs to be able to maintain the requirements needed to preserve their state medical licenses, including continuing medical education (CME).
The fees for the licenses will be paid by CareMore and Aspire, as will expenses (within reason) needed to maintain CME.
