Product Manager Sr.
The selected candidate must be able to report to an Anthem office as needed for business reasons when necessary. Preferred locations: ME, NH, CT, NY, GA, IN, OH, KY, VA. **Currently Anthem associates are W@H.
The Senior Product Manager will evaluate product portfolios and solutions to improve existing products and make recommendations for new products. This role will serve as a user-facing product team as we build out our best-in-class AI capabilities. As a seasoned product manager as well as someone who may have clinical experience, you will work directly with Anthem's Product leadership team in researching and defining the product and roadmap and will be responsible for the timely execution of that product. You will use your experience delivering world-class healthcare products to help Anthem iterate on its current platform and achieve the engagement and utilization metrics.
Primary responsibilities may include:
Develop product line strategic roadmap.
Translate strategic roadmap to a set of tactically executable steps.
Propose and implement features that drive engagement within Anthem's application.
Provide product ownership of new program deployments.
Communicate both strategic and tactical roadmaps to key stakeholders.
Work closely with the engineering technical project manager to ensure the design and product artifacts are delivered on time.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 4 years of experience in strategic product management, development, and/or product strategy; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MBA preferred. Health or managed care experience is required. Digital product management experience is required.
Clinical/wellness product experience highly preferred (condition care, complex care, disease management).
Proven expertise in product management practices including roadmap development, concept validation, requirements definition, and feature prioritization.
Keen attention to detail and good judgment for when something is “user-ready”.
Project management skills, including the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize.
Deep understanding of agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
Able to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
Ability to visualize consumer behavior through metrics.
Experience and passion for working within a design thinking organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
