The Director Program/Project Management is responsible for migration planning to support our future state operating model.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Draw from experience in PBM operations to develop and create innovative and differentiating solutions.

  • Leads and directs this high-priority project requiring high levels of cross functional integration.

  • Responsible for coordinated management of this project over it’s entire life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

  • Manages the project using established project management processes.

  • Collaborates with executive sponsor and stakeholders, continuously reviewing, updating, and optimizing the project to ensure compliance with changing organizational strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Monitors the project budget, scope, schedule and key performance indicators in order to address issues, risks & performance issues and assure achievement of intended project/program outcomes.

  • Communicates project decisions, prioritization, status & risks to the executive sponsor and stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment and optimum return on investment.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.


Minimum Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 10years project/program management experience, in addition to a minimum of 5 years management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of the PBM industry with an emphasis on pharmacy claims adjudication (7 years)

  • Experience in leading multi-year/high budget projects

  • Ability to oversee and validate business requirements

  • Ability to identify gaps in business process

  • Ability to understand technical design

  • Experience with AGILE development methods

  • Experience with building cross-functional teams

  • PMI PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred.

  • MBA, IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
