Corporate Communication Specialist II
The Corporate Communications Specialist II is responsible for providing internal communications support by anticipating, preparing for, and managing moderately complex internal corporate communications issues, reporting to Corporate Communications department.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: - Creates and/or edits PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership meetings and events. - Researches, develops, and edits moderately complex communications materials. - Supports the development and implementation of a strategic communications plan and related initiatives. - Coordinates submission of internal articles. - Manages distribution of broadcast messages.
Work location: Any Anthem state; may consider other locations for most qualified applicant.
Minimum requirements: Requires a BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, or a related field; 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred qualifications: - Proven expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint design, including template creation. - Proven competency in other Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, etc. - Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication skills, along with excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry preferred.
