SMALL GROUP SUPPORT SPECIALIST - Responsible for supporting new and renewal business processes.
Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, this position will require you to work remotely from your home with the expectation that you will return to a regular, in-office work environment. As we continue to monitor guidance from CDC and state officials there may be times you would need to report to the office on a monthly or quarterly basis for team meetings or engagement activities.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Reviews 1-50 new business applications, legal documentation and validates eligibility, Reviews monthly renewal output, corrects errors, and reviews off cycle benefit modifications.
Reviews and updates member level and broker of record changes, and creates updated/missed renewals using manual workflow or tool.
Reviews 51-99 new business applications, legal documentation, including Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) assignment based on Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code.
Supports Anthem Circle of Excellence (ACE) and Select Agent service.
Applies knowledge of regulations, laws, mandates, and policies to answer questions, educate, and provide expertise to internal and external contacts (agents, general agents, employers, account managers, operations, broker services, etc.).
Responsible for completing participation audits and notifying groups not meeting eligibility requirements.
Performs Small group to large group releases, and creates rosters for potential sales in small group.
Must live within 1 hour commute of location listed.
Requires a high school diploma
3 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. BS in a business related field preferred.
