Location: Nationwide, but the selected candidate must live within a commutable distance to an Anthem office.
The Value Based Solutions – Provider Product Strategy team is focused on developing and scaling solutions to support our provider partners in the journey from fee-for-service to value-based care. This is a growing and dynamic environment, with an opportunity to work on a variety of initiatives. Our product suite includes technology solutions, data analytics, and human-enabled services. A person in this role will guide business products from ideation to launch to ongoing monitoring and evolution. This person will be responsible for market research and validation, business cases, product requirements, roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
Responsible for the development of provider-facing products to support strong performance in value-based contracts. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Evaluates existing products and competitor and industry data to improve existing products and make recommendations for new products.
Develops and implements long-term profitability strategies for market segment including market positioning, new product design pricing parameters, risk profiles, and legislative/regulatory responses.
Coordinates presentation, communication, and implementation of all phases of product development.
Ensures all products are compliant with regulatory directives and state/federal laws and policies.
Serves as a product expert and a relationship manager to the core clients.
Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Health or managed care experience preferred. Product management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
The ideal candidate has:
Experience bringing products to market, and managing the product life-cycle.
A deep understanding of provider business models and pain points
Experience working directly with or within provider organizations
Ability to give external product demos and adapt presentations to the audience’s specific concerns
Consultative selling skills to uncover needs, motivations, business goals and map back to our solutions where appropriate
Experience collaborating with internal business units in a matrixed environment
A can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to getting things done

Annual Salary Range*: $89,796 - $134,694
