The Business Change Director is a key leader in Anthem’s Enterprise Analytics Hub (EAH). The Hub promotes a new way of thinking and collaboration to drive Anthem’s enterprise strategy. The Hub has accountability for efforts to derive critical clinical and business insight from Anthem’s rich healthcare ecosystem to improve healthcare quality, safety, access, and affordability. This team partners with Anthem’s business units to set analytics priorities, build new advanced analytic capabilities, conduct hypothesis-driven discovery with an end-to-end mindset, and drive value creation through the production of breakthrough insights that are utilized to propel our growth.
The Business Change Director is responsible for working with management drive effective communications and alignment across business and analytic stakeholders across the company.
Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:
Work seamlessly across both business and analytic stakeholders to create strong alignment
Proficient at articulating and driving an executive level “value story” – focusing on what the Hub is doing to drive business impact and why it matters
Create compelling communications pieces (e.g. blogs, Powerpoint decks, talking points)
Tirelessly deliver these communications to groups of business and analytic leads across Anthem
Orchestrate a programmatic approach to communications
Be able to understand at an overview level the tools and processes that analysts use to run queries and build dashboards
Understand at a high level the analytic EAH work products that may be of value to analysts across the company (e.g. the pregnancy probability score), and the potential impact of key insights that would be valuable to business users
Create mechanisms to check back with analysts and/or business users over time and gain their input
Identify barriers and issues that analysts across the enterprise encounter when trying to apply the EAH work products and communicate those issue back to the EAH domain teams and the resolution of those back to the analysts
Identifies potential issues, project change, and scope data. Leads efforts to identify best practices.
Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.
Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.
Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.
Provides process, project, and change management methodology coaching/consulting support to both local and enterprise wide initiatives.
Provides expertise to the business areas in culture/change management activities.
Provides expertise in process planning and portfolio management activities.
Supports the execution of the operating plan.

BA/BS in a related field
minimum of 10 years managing mid to large-scale change/project initiatives; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.
Communications and/or Marketing experience is preferred. Masters degree preferred.
Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
